Seven miles safe was way too close when wildfires swept the North Bay area where Micki now calls home. Boxes of print photos filled closets and years of digital photos lived on a 12 year old hard drive. That was the catalyst to finally take action. Learning to safeguard, organize and share her journeys, Micki realized her passion to help others curate their photo collections and launched Journeys Photo Solutions.
Micki earned her bachelor ‘ s degree from Old Dominion University in Studio Art and Master of Science in Human Services from National Louis University. This unique combination along with over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in government, non-profit and the private sector has forged a tenacity to see a vision become reality. She has earned certification through the Association of Professional Photo Organizers.
She and her husband Jay have traveled cross county by motorcycle and were
full-time RVers before settling in California. They are now raising their
3 grandsons and enjoy supporting them in their music, sports and scout
